| Rob is a singer/songwriter from Newbridge, South Wales. He has sung around the churches, schools, college, youth events and more over the last few years, sharing the message of the Gospel.
His music has an "Honesty and Passion about it" wrote Lorrain King, that clearly communicates the love of God in a contemporary way. "South Wales has a great reputation for artists in this vein - Martyn Joseph, Nia, Mal Pope and many others - Rob Barrowdale's debut album reveals a promising young artist who is keen to carry on this tradition." wrote Cross Rhythms. With a full band behind him the album includes punchy rock songs such as "Hand of The Father" and "Live In The Light", whilst also challenging people with "powerful ballads sung with feeling" (Paul Poulton) such as the title track "Shelter In The Storm" and the very moving "African Child". Rob is no stranger to live performance and is currently promoting his album. For information on booking Rob contact him at robbarrowdale@talk21.com |
